70 home based players in Super Eagles' coach's plan

70 home based players are said to be in the plans of Super Eagles coach, Sunday Olisehas he aims to rebuild the Nigeria national team.
According to the Sun newspaper, Oliseh and his assistants, have earmarked 70 home  who they will constantly look at to select for the national team.
One of Super Eagles's assistant coaches,Salisu Yusuf gave the hint during a the weekly interactive session with the media where he stated that they would be inviting players from that pool of 70 based on the players’ current form.
We have about 70 players in our pool for different positions. What we have done for the game at hand against Tanzania was to pick based on current form," Yusuf is quoted to say by the Sun Newspaper.
"We monitor the performance of these players. You might have a good player but on current form he may not just be there, what that means is that he wont get a call up until when he finds his rhythm.
We will always strive to go for the best legs the country can boast of. Mind you, the Eagles is not a place for green horns.
"We are going to do our best to build a team Nigerians will be proud of. A team that will bring back the glorious days of our football.”
