Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel has appointed Mrs. Ekereobong M. Akpan as the new Head of Service for the state civil service.
The new Head of Service who, until her recent appointment, was the Permanent Secretary, Hospitals Management Board, takes over from Mrs. Cecilia Udoessien.
Akpan, who is the immediate past Deputy Dean, College of Permanent Secretaries in the state, resumes office from November 1, 2015.The new Head of Service who, until her recent appointment, was the Permanent Secretary, Hospitals Management Board, takes over from Mrs. Cecilia Udoessien.
A release signed by the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Governor, Mr. Ekerete Udoh, said the Governor has thanked the immediate past Head of Service for her service to the state and bid her the best in future endeavours.
The new Head of Service is said to be an experienced and astute administrator, public relations practitioner and a trainer.
