Senate wants immunity clause for Saraki, others

Bukola Saraki on trial for assets declaration fraud on September 22, 2015

Reports say the Senate is making plans to ensure that the principal officer of the Senate, and the head of the Judiciary arm, enjoy immunity.
This is coming on the heels of the Senate President's arraignment at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
According to Vanguard Newspapers, the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Mr. Leo Ogor said  "if the head of the executive arm, the President, and his vice should enjoy immunity, the heads of the other two arms of government, the legislature and the judiciary, should also benefit from the immunity."
